Get Ready:

-  Create a PowerPoint document called "Name's Monarch Slide Show"

-  Put your name in the footer of the master slide. 

-  Save your document in your folder.

Slide 1:

-Create a title slide that says "Name's"  and "Monarch Slide Show"

Slide 2:

-Create a slide titled "Monarch Butterfly Life Stages"

-Follow the "Butterfly Stages" link.

-Paste pictures of the Monarch Butterfly's life stages.

-Label the pictures using the word in green by each picture.

Slide 3:

-Create a slide titled "Monarch Butterfly Food"

-Follow the "Milkweed Photos" link.

-Paste a picture of milkweed onto this slide

-Label the picture "Milkweed"

Slide 4:

-Create a slide titled "Monarch Butterfly Male & Female"

-Follow the "Male and Female Monarchs" link.

-Paste a picture of a male Monarch butterfly.

-Label it "Male"

-Paste a picture of a female Monarch butterfly.

-Label it "Female"

Slide 5:

-Create a slide titled "My Monarch Butterfly"

-Open your Microsoft Word document with the Monarch Butterfly

  you colored.

-Hold down "alt" and "print screen"

-Hold down "ctrl" and "c"

-Paste this screen copy onto your slide

-Crop the picture

Slide 6:

-Create a slide titled "Monarch Butterfly Puzzle"

-Follow the "Butterfly Puzzle" link

-Hold down "alt" and "print screen"

-Hold down "ctrl" and "c"

-Paste this screen copy of the puzzle before you put it together

onto your slide

-Crop the picture

-Do the puzzle

-Hold down "alt" and "print screen"

-Hold down "ctrl" and "c"

-Paste this screen copy of the puzzle after you put it together

-Crop the picture

Finish:

-Follow the "Monarch Pictures" links and paste a picture or two to

put on your first slide.

-Choose a background for your slide show using the "Format" tab,

  and then "Apply Design Template"

-Watch your slide show so you can see what a great job you did!
