Computer Lab Page
Students at The Schoolhouse enjoy the chance to learn and experience the ways computer technology adds value to our lives.  All students, from Kindergarten through 6th grade, have the opportunity to learn keyboarding, digital photography, word processing, and safe Internet exploration.

We use the Open Office suite of programs in place of Microsoft Office.  We have made this choice for several reason including the cost (free) and the opportunity for all of our families to download the software at home. 

Open Office is compatible with Microsoft Office (Word, Powerpoint, Excel. Access) and works similarly to these programs.  (There are some differences and learning these minor changes will require a bit of patience and creativity.  Our Schoolhouse kids are up to the task!)
